Office Building Facade Design Project

At the initial design stage, we explored an aluminum grille facade design to create a softer and more dynamic building appearance. For this concept, we combined beige aluminum grille panels with curved baffles and arranged them vertically to form a continuous wave-shaped facade profile.

We used the curved grille arrangement to add movement to the building elevation while maintaining a clean and organized structure. The vertical aluminum elements also provided solar shading for the glass areas while allowing natural light to enter the office spaces.

To strengthen the connection between the facade and the entrance area, we combined the light-colored aluminum elements with dark stone-wrapped columns at the base. The contrast between different materials helped create a stable and contemporary appearance suitable for an office building.

For the second design direction, we explored a more geometric facade approach by combining metal wall panels with a large glass curtain wall system.

The dark gray metal wall panels were arranged in diagonal and V-shaped patterns to create stronger facade divisions and add more depth to the building's exterior. Compared with a large flat glass surface, the textured metal panels added more visual layers while maintaining a modern and structured appearance.

We also considered the nighttime appearance of the building by introducing linear lighting elements into the panel grooves. The combination of textured metal surfaces, transparent glass areas, and integrated lighting created a contemporary facade concept with a stronger commercial character.

After reviewing the initial concepts with the client, we refined the glass curtain wall area to improve facade transparency and daylight performance.

For this stage, we increased the glass curtain wall proportion while redesigning the grille arrangement. The original vertical aluminum grille layout was transformed into a wave-shaped pattern to create a more continuous facade. Linear lighting was integrated along the grille edges to highlight the curved outline and enhance the facade appearance at night.

We also introduced wave-shaped aluminum panels in the upper area. At the entrance, we added a canopy system with a customized curved aluminum ceiling underneath, creating a stronger visual effect for the entrance space.

For this design option, the PRANCE design team refined the panel arrangement, facade details, and entrance composition.

Based on the client's requirements for a stronger entrance identity, we introduced a large entrance canopy as a key element of the facade design.

We also introduced wave-shaped aluminum panels in the upper area. At the entrance, we added a canopy system with a customized curved aluminum ceiling underneath, creating a stronger visual effect for the entrance space.

Based on the client's feedback, we refined the facade direction by retaining the combination of metal wall panels and glass curtain walls while redesigning the upper facade with dark geometric aluminum panels.

For the entrance canopy, we introduced a customized three-dimensional aluminum ceiling system. The layered ceiling structure and integrated lighting enhanced the overall entrance design.

This concept introduced tree-inspired aluminum panels as a distinctive element on the upper facade.

This natural pattern added more visual depth and detail to the building exterior while creating a softer contrast with the geometric metal and glass facade below.

After multiple rounds of comparison and refinement, the client confirmed the overall facade design direction. The final stage focused on improving facade details, material coordination, entrance elements, and the overall visual balance.

The completed design integrated modern facade aesthetics, functional performance, and practical implementation considerations. The final concept created a distinctive office building exterior with a clear design identity while maintaining a balanced relationship between appearance and usability.
