Компания PRANCE Metalwork – ведущий производитель металлических потолочных и фасадных систем.
The most common and versatile suspension system for aluminum ceiling panels, especially standard lay-in panels, is the exposed T-grid system. These grids are typically made from steel or aluminum and come in standard module sizes (e.g., 600×600 mm, 1200×600 mm, or imperial equivalents like 2'x2', 2'x4'). The most widely used profiles are the 15/16" (or 24 mm) face T-bar systems, known for their structural integrity and compatibility with various panel types and integrated services like lighting and ventilation. A slimmer 9/16" (or 15 mm) face T-bar system is also popular for a more refined aesthetic, creating tighter joints between panels.
While standard T-grids are excellent for lay-in panels, our company also offers aluminum panels designed for other systems, such as clip-in, hook-on, or tile/tegular systems. Clip-in systems provide a concealed grid look where panels clip onto hidden carriers, offering monolithic aesthetics. Hook-on systems are often used for larger format panels or specific design requirements. Tile/tegular panels have a rebated edge that drops slightly below the grid, partially concealing the T-bar face.
The "best" system depends on the specific aluminum panel type chosen, the desired aesthetic (exposed vs. concealed grid), load-bearing requirements, and accessibility needs. However, the standard 15/16" T-grid offers the broadest compatibility and ease of installation for many common aluminum ceiling applications. Always ensure the grid's load rating is sufficient for the chosen aluminum panels.
