Transportation and logistics are pivotal when supplying aluminum façades to the Middle East and Central Asia (including Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan). Unitized modules are larger, heavier, and require specialized packing, shipping, and on-site crane capacity. They often travel in dedicated containers or open-deck trucks and demand careful route engineering for oversized loads. At destination, suitable quay cranes, heavy-lift road permits, and substantial lifting capacity must be coordinated. These logistics increase lead time and cost but reduce on-site labor hours.
Stick systems transport discrete extrusions, glazing units, and accessories in standard crates and pallets, making them easier to move through constrained urban sites and remote roads. This flexibility benefits projects with narrow city streets or limited port infrastructure common in some Central Asian locations. However, stick systems require more frequent deliveries and sensitive handling of glazing units to avoid breakage.
As a manufacturer, we prepare detailed logistics plans including module size optimization for sea freight, pack rates, and installation sequencing. For unitized deliveries to the Gulf, we coordinate port clearance, inland haulage, and crane windows to minimize demurrage. For Central Asian projects, we evaluate cross-border permit needs and road quality. The practical choice balances transport capacity, site lifting equipment, and overall project schedule — sometimes favoring a hybrid strategy where large repetitive zones are unitized and complex corners are stick-built.
