Armstrong-style metal mesh ceilings offer an open-cell aesthetic that pairs well with modern LED lighting. The mesh’s translucency allows light to pass through evenly, creating diffuse illumination and reducing harsh shadows. At PRANCE, we engineer mesh panels to accommodate various LED fixtures—whether recessed downlights, pendant luminaires, or linear strips.
For recessed LED modules, we provide pre-cut openings and reinforced support rings in the mesh panel to ensure secure mounting. The open grid above the mesh accommodates driver housing and heat dissipation, maintaining LED lifespan. Surface-mount LEDs can clip directly onto the mesh or mount on concealed carriers behind the panel.
Linear LED strips are ideal for accent lighting, tracing mesh grid lines or defining architectural lines. Channels integrated into the suspension grid hide wiring and power supplies. Mesh’s openness also facilitates easy access for maintenance without panel removal.
