4D Wood-grain Surface Finish

This technique applies a natural wood grain appearance and texture to metal surfaces, creating a three-dimensional visual effect that enhances depth on ceilings and walls.

Anodized Copper & Bronze Surface Finish

Anodized Copper & Bronze Surface Finish

This surface treatment gives metal an aged, oxidized look, mimicking historical copper or aluminum for decorative ceilings and walls.

Anodized Surface Finish

Anodizing is an electrochemical method that forms a durable oxide layer on metals, improving hardness, corrosion resistance, and visual appeal for metal ceilings and walls.

Water Ripple Surface Finish

Water Ripple Surface Finish

Advanced surface treatment crafts a distinctive water ripple effect with hammer-marked textures on metal surfaces, offering a sleek, mirror-like finish ideal for modern designs.

Powder Coating Surface Finish

Powder coating is a key surface technique in architectural decoration, applying a durable layer to metal surfaces through electrostatic attraction for ceilings and walls.

Pre-coating Surface Finish

Pre-coating Surface Finish

Pre-roller coating treatment is a surface coating method for metal ceilings and walls, enhancing their appearance and performance. Typically performed in industrial settings, this process involves pre-applying coatings to metal surfaces to achieve specific effects.

Printing Surface Finish

Custom pattern printing for metal ceilings and metal wall surfaces is a creatively rich decorative technique that involves imprinting specific patterns, images, or designs onto metal surfaces, creating unique decorative elements within a space. Here's an overview of this technique:

PVDF Surface Finish

PVDF Surface Finish

Fluorocarbon spray coating, used on metal ceilings and walls, relies on fluorocarbon resin coatings. This method provides superb weather and corrosion resistance, along with enhanced aesthetics.

Stone-grain Surface Finish

Stone texture treatment is a decorative technique used for metal ceilings and metal wall surfaces. Its purpose is to impart the appearance and texture of stone to metal materials, creating a simulated stone-like effect. Here's an overview of this treatment:

Wood-grain Surface Finish

Wood grain treatment for metal ceilings and metal wall surfaces is a decorative technique that simulates the texture and color of wood, giving metal materials a look similar to real wood. Here is an overview of this treatment:

Surface Finishes FAQ

1
PVDF or powder coating, which should I specify for metal panels?
Use PVDF when long-term exterior weathering and color retention are primary concerns and the specified coating system supports them. Powder coating is often suitable for many interior and general exterior applications. Specify the complete coating system, film thickness, pretreatment, color, and required test standard rather than choosing by name alone.
2
What's the difference between AAMA 2604 and AAMA 2605 coatings?
AAMA 2605 is the more demanding performance specification, generally used where higher exterior durability and color retention are required. AAMA 2604 is a lower performance level.
3
How much does PVDF or powder-coated color fade?
Color change depends on resin system, pigment, exposure, orientation, climate, and cleaning.
4
Is PVDF or anodized finish better for coastal projects?
No. Neither finish is automatically better for every coastal project. PVDF can provide a durable exterior coating system, while anodizing provides an integral oxide surface. Specify alloy, pretreatment, coating or anodizing class, edge treatment, fastener compatibility, salt exposure, and maintenance requirements for the actual site.
5
Why do anodized panels show color inconsistency between batches?
Anodized color varies with alloy composition, sheet or extrusion surface, grain direction, bath chemistry, current density, and processing batch. Order a controlled sample, keep panels for one visible zone in the same batch where possible, and approve acceptable color variation before production.
6
Can I match a custom RAL/Pantone color?
Yes. RAL or Pantone references can be used as a starting point, but the final color should be approved from a physical sample because the substrate and finish affect appearance.
7
Do wood-grain aluminum finishes hold up as well as real wood outdoors?
Yes. Aluminum wood-grain finishes avoid many issues associated with exposed timber, such as moisture uptake, rot, and repainting.
