Fasteners and sub-frames use stainless steel (316 grade) to prevent galvanic corrosion. Ventilated rainscreen systems minimize water stagnation, allowing salt-laden moisture to drain and evaporate. Regular maintenance—periodic rinsing with fresh water—removes salt deposits, extending service life. Combined with low thermal expansion and lightweight installation, aluminum facades deliver durable, low-maintenance envelopes in harsh marine environments, making them a preferred choice for coastal resorts, waterfront offices, and maritime infrastructure.
