PRANCE metalwork is a leading manufacturer of metal ceiling and facade systems.
Aluminum ceilings offer significantly better thermal control efficiency than gypsum ceilings, thanks to an integrated system approach. Traditional gypsum ceilings provide little insulation themselves, relying primarily on the insulation placed above them. However, our aluminum ceiling systems are designed to work in harmony with the latest insulation technologies. The void (plenum) created above the suspended ceiling allows for the integration of thick, highly efficient layers of insulating material, creating a highly effective thermal barrier. More importantly, the aluminum surface itself has the unique property of high thermal reflectivity. Our light-colored ceilings or reflective finishes can reflect up to 95% of radiant heat. In hot climates, this significantly reduces the heat penetrating the building from above, keeping interior spaces cooler and reducing the burden on air conditioning systems. This dual capability—combining effective insulation with heat reflection—gives aluminum ceilings a clear advantage over gypsum, resulting in greater comfort and significant savings on energy bills.
