PRANCE metalwork is a leading manufacturer of metal ceiling and facade systems.
Ceiling hung acoustic panels combine perforated aluminum facing with high-density acoustic infill to address reverberation and ambient noise in offices. Our panels use micro-perforations (0.8 mm diameter at 2 mm pitch) or narrow slots to direct sound waves into an inner core of Class A mineral wool or PET felt. The aluminum face maintains a sleek finish and protects the infill from moisture and dust, preserving acoustical properties long-term. By adjusting the plenum depth (typically 50–200 mm) between the panel and structural deck, designers can tune absorption coefficients across targeted frequency bands—critical for speech intelligibility in open-plan workspaces. Panels are suspended via discrete steel cables or integrated hook systems, allowing height variation for a sculptural look and increased diffusion. Our tests show a noise reduction coefficient (NRC) of up to 0.85 in standard configurations, significantly lowering background noise while enhancing speech clarity. Panels can be custom-painted or anodized to match corporate branding, making acoustic treatment an aesthetic asset. Maintenance is minimal: occasional vacuuming or wipe-down preserves both appearance and acoustic efficiency, ensuring a healthier, more productive office environment.
