PRANCE metalwork is a leading manufacturer of metal ceiling and facade systems.
A stretch ceiling consists of a lightweight, flexible membrane—typically PVC or architectural fabric—pulled taut within an aluminum perimeter frame. The aluminum framing system, anchored to walls or primary structure, features a proprietary profile with a silicone-or-C-shaped groove that locks the membrane edges securely under tension. Installers heat the membrane to increase elasticity, clip it into the aluminum track, and allow it to cool, creating a perfectly smooth, flat ceiling without visible fasteners. Aluminum’s dimensional stability ensures the frame retains its shape over temperature fluctuations, preventing membrane sagging. Integrated accessory profiles accommodate recessed LEDs, air diffusers, and speaker layouts, all behind the stretch surface for a minimalist aesthetic. At termination points, finished aluminum trims conceal cut edges, providing a clean junction with facade soffits or bulkhead transitions. The combination of stretch ceiling membranes and aluminum framing yields expansive, uninterrupted ceiling planes with customizable drainage for maintenance and lighting.
