PRANCE metalwork is a leading manufacturer of metal ceiling and facade systems.
Building a glass curtain wall starts with architectural and structural design to determine panel sizes, framing profiles, and attachment methods. Engineers model wind loads, seismic forces, and thermal movements to specify frame sections and anchorage details. Once designed, aluminum mullions, transoms, and insulated glass units are fabricated in factory-controlled conditions. On site, installers erect vertical mullions, install horizontal transoms, and secure the framing to building slabs using adjustable anchors. Glass panels are then set into the frames, sealed with gaskets and sealants. Weep holes and back-bedding compounds ensure drainage. Quality control includes alignment checks, sealant inspections, and water infiltration testing. The result is a watertight, thermally efficient façade that complements modern architectural designs.
