Cladding round columns with aluminum panels requires precision fabrication and a well-thought-out installation strategy, both of which our company excels at. There are primarily two approaches: using custom-curved panels or segmented flat panels. For a perfectly smooth, seamless appearance, aluminum sheets or Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP) can be roll-formed or brake-formed to match the exact radius of the column. This creates curved panel sections that fit snugly around the column. Alternatively, for a more faceted or articulated look, or for very large diameter columns, segmented flat panels can be used. These are individual flat panels with angled edges that, when assembled, approximate the round form. Our process begins with precise site measurements or architectural specifications. We then engineer the panel sizes and joint details, ensuring a clean and aesthetically pleasing result. The panels are typically fixed to a sub-frame attached to the column or directly to the column surface using appropriate concealed fixings. Our expertise ensures a high-quality, durable, and visually striking aluminum cladding solution for your round columns.
