Installing an aluminum railing begins with planning layout, locating structural anchors, and gathering kit components—posts, rails, infill, and fasteners. First, measure and mark post positions on the substrate (wood, concrete, or deck), ensuring spacing complies with code (typically no more than 4 ft apart). Drill anchor holes using appropriate bit size for wedge anchors or structural screws. Secure posts plumb with stainless-steel or aluminum fasteners. Slide or clip top and bottom rails into post channels, insert infill (balusters, glass panels, or horizontal bars), and engage snap-in caps or set screws to lock components in place. Seal intersections with manufacturer’s silicone sealant to prevent moisture infiltration. Finally, attach handrails if required and torque all fasteners per Archsky’s installation guide. A level check at each stage ensures a straight, secure, code-compliant railing installation.
