PRANCE metalwork is a leading manufacturer of metal ceiling and facade systems.
Installing a complete curtain wall system begins with pre-installation surveys to confirm anchor embed locations and floor elevations. For stick-built systems, begin by setting and leveling vertical mullions, anchoring them to each slab edge. Install transoms between mullions at designated heights, ensuring consistent module dimensions. Apply sealant and back-bedding to frame interiors. Lift glass or spandrel panels into the frames, seating them on setting blocks and securing them with pressure plates or gaskets. For unitized systems, crane-lift factory-assembled modules into position, align them, and fasten anchor brackets. After all modules are in place, seal joint interfaces with silicone sealant. Complete final inspections on alignment, seal integrity, and drainage to ensure the system meets performance specifications.
