PRANCE metalwork is a leading manufacturer of metal ceiling and facade systems.
Long-term stability of ceiling hung metal partitions hinges on precise hanger adjustment, corrosion-proof connection hardware, and periodic inspection. Initially, each partition hanger is set using turnbuckle-style adjusters, ensuring perfect plumb over the entire partition height. We specify stainless-steel or galvanized hangers and clips to prevent creep from moisture or thermal cycling. At the top connection, partitions clip into double-locking channels that distribute weight across multiple fasteners, reducing point-load stress. For partitions exceeding 3 m height, intermediate support rails are added to prevent panel bowing. Seismic or wind-load bracing cables join partition frames to the grid, limiting sway under external forces. We recommend a biannual maintenance check, where tension in each hanger is verified with a torque wrench and any drift is corrected. Matching facade anchorage points can also be integrated, locking partitions to exterior mullions for additional rigidity. By combining robust materials, engineered connections, and a maintenance schedule, our ceiling hung metal partitions remain stable and true for decades.
