PRANCE metalwork is a leading manufacturer of metal ceiling and facade systems.
Synchronizing site as-built data with factory production is the cornerstone of executing fast-track international facade construction without compromising precision. This complex coordination relies heavily on the implementation of a centralized, cloud-based Building Information Modeling (BIM) platform. The process begins on the international construction site, where surveyors utilize 3D laser scanners to capture the exact dimensions and tolerances of the concrete or steel structure. This high-fidelity point cloud data is immediately uploaded to the cloud server, providing our engineering team at the manufacturing facility with real-time, millimeter-accurate site conditions. Our designers then adjust the 3D facade models and parametric panel geometries directly against this as-built data, completely eliminating reliance on outdated or theoretical 2D structural drawings. As the bespoke metal panels and substructures are finalized in the digital model, the approved fabrication data is fed directly into our factory's CNC machinery. This direct digital thread ensures that every component produced is custom-tailored to the actual physical reality of the distant construction site. Furthermore, each manufactured panel is tagged with unique QR codes linked back to the BIM model, streamlining international logistics and guiding the on-site installation teams. This fully synchronized digital workflow drastically reduces lead times, prevents on-site rework, and ensures the successful, rapid delivery of highly complex global facade projects.
