PRANCE metalwork is a leading manufacturer of metal ceiling and facade systems.
OneExcellence is a modern commercial building located in the Qianhai District,Shenzhen. The project required a lay-in ceiling solution for its office spaces and executive apartments. The layout featured a challenging mix of varying room sizes and distinctive circular structural elements.
To meet these demands, PRANCE supplied 10000㎡custom aluminum lay-in ceiling to this building, delivering a bright, orderly and acoustic ceiling solution for the office interior space.

When the client made their request, they raised several functional needs and techinical problems:
Standard suspension grids were incompatible with the custom panel dimensions required for the design.
Irregular room layouts and circular office zones made edge finishing difficult, making it difficult to achieve neat edge details and continuity.
The client needs a white finish to maximize brightness and requires strict spatial uniformity across different room sizes.
Using standard 600×1200 ceiling panels would have produced inconsistent visual rhythm and wasted material in many irregular areas.
After on-site review, PRANCE recommended replacing the ceiling panels with custom narrow-edge stepped panels sized 595×1195mm (outer) / 585×1185mm (inner).
The resulting 10 mm border produces a slimmer, more refined reveal that reduces the strong grid effect large panels produce in varied room sizes.
We also specified 1.0 mm aluminum thickness to increase panel flatness and stiffness; this thickness maintains a crisp stepped profile and gives the ceiling a pronounced three-dimensional presence without excessive weight.
Standard ceiling grid are not suitable for this project. To solve this problem, PRANCE team customized a T-grid system to match the custom panels. This T-grid system improves installation stability and enhances the ceiling’s linear expression. It creates a structurally stable and visually unified surface for the interior ceiling area.
For round and irregularly shaped rooms, PRANCE recommends the following installation method: installers first secure the main ceiling structure, then subdivide the remaining area into trapezoidal and triangular modules, finally finishing with precise edge trim and edging details. This method:
To address potential reverberation and noise issues in large open-plan offices, we suggested using perforation panels backed with high-performance acoustic materials. This acoustic design can effectively absorbs vocal frequencies, foot traffic, and equipment noise. Also, it prevents excessive echoing in large spaces, providing a more comfortable acoustic environment for both clients and staff.
To meet the client's a clean, bright atmosphere, PRANCE applied uniform high white coating for the finish treatment.
This surface treatment creates a more open and bright visual effect, reduces the need for high-intensity lighting, and allows the ceiling to maintain a bright and clean appearance for a long time.
