PRANCE metalwork is a leading manufacturer of metal ceiling and facade systems.
The OPPO Shenzhen Headquarters covers an area of 185,000 square meters, with a total building area of approximately 248,000 square meters and a height of 200 meters, consisting of 42 floors. The building is composed of four interconnected elliptical towers. Two of the towers feature flexible and open spaces, connected by a 20-story vertical atrium, while the other two external towers primarily provide essential services, including vertical transportation.
With its unique design, the OPPO headquarters has attracted widespread attention, hailed as a new generation of landmark architecture and nicknamed the "super idol" in the curtain wall industry. PRANCE is honored to have been part of the construction of this iconic project.

In the OPPO Shenzhen Headquarters project, PRANCE was involved in the design of ceilings, artistic scale walls, and column cladding. The ceiling design features a woven pattern, a bold design rarely seen in the industry. The wall incorporates aluminum panels positioned at different angles to create a unique scale-like effect.
While the design stands out, it posed significant challenges in execution. The distinctive shapes meant that there were few, if any, precedents in the market, leading to many potential problems during construction. To ensure the best outcome, PRANCE brought together its design and production teams for a thorough discussion, as we needed to ensure both safety and accurate realization of the design according to the blueprints.
For the woven ceiling, we developed custom molds to guarantee precision and uniformity across all products. Since the project required easy maintenance, high precision was crucial, particularly for integrating systems like smoke detectors, cameras, sprinklers, and emergency lights.
In the factory, PRANCE conducted trial installations to identify key points and techniques for ceiling installation, helping to minimize potential issues and reduce the construction timeline for the client.
The scale walls are also being trial-fitted in the factory. Each panel is designed to allow angle adjustments, with the ability to lock at a specific angle. Precise measurement of angles is necessary to achieve the desired overall effect.
These past few days, PRANCE has completed the trial installation, and the products will soon be shipped to the OPPO project site in Shenzhen. Once installed, PRANCE will provide an on-site walkthrough to showcase the final installation results. Stay tuned!
