PRANCE metalwork is a leading manufacturer of metal ceiling and facade systems.
Ceiling hung systems’ load limits depend on hanger spacing, grid section size, and panel weight. In our standard aluminum grid, main runners measure 40 × 50 mm and are rated for up to 7 kg/m² when hangers are spaced at 1200 mm centers. For heavier acoustic or back-lit ceiling panels—up to 10 kg/m²—we reduce hanger intervals to 800 mm or upgrade to 50 × 75 mm steel-reinforced channels. Dynamic loads, such as seismic or maintenance traffic, require lateral bracing and U-shaped tie wires installed per local building codes; in seismic Zone 4, our system can withstand horizontal accelerations of 0.3 g with deflection under L/480. Roof-mounted grid applications with integrated lighting fixtures demand additional point-load hangers rated individually (often 20–25 kg). All components—hangers, connectors, and channels—are hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel to maintain strength over time. We supply detailed load tables and installation guides tailored to each project, ensuring that designers and installers can factor in panel weight, grid span, and environmental forces, thus delivering reliable performance aligned with our aluminum ceiling and façade specialization.
