What coating options offer both aesthetics and corrosion protection?
Aluminum’s natural corrosion resistance can be further enhanced by specialized coatings that also deliver aesthetic versatility. PRANCE offers three primary finish systems. Anodizing creates a protective oxide layer that resists wear and UV fading while providing satin to high-gloss metallic tones. The finish is integral to the aluminum and won’t peel or chip.
Organic powder coats in ANSI and RAL palettes allow unlimited color and texture choices. With thicknesses up to 100 µm, these coatings form a durable barrier against moisture and chemical exposure—ideal for humid or coastal locales. Textured powders add depth and hide fingerprints.
For exterior facades or demanding indoor environments, PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) coatings provide superior chalk and fade resistance, backed by 20-year warranties. The two-coat system (primer and topcoat) offers excellent elasticity, resisting cracking over thermal cycles. PVDF’s smooth finish is available in both solid and metallic effects.
