PRANCE metalwork is a leading manufacturer of metal ceiling and facade systems.
In construction terminology, an ACM panel is an Aluminum Composite Material panel used as cladding for building exteriors and interiors. It consists of two aluminum cover sheets bonded to a central core—either polyethylene for standard use or a fire-retardant mineral core for enhanced safety. The panel’s composite structure delivers high strength-to-weight ratio, dimensional stability, and ease of fabrication.
For aluminum facade construction, ACM panels mount on aluminum mullion-and-transom frames, forming ventilated rainscreens that protect the building envelope. Concealed clip systems or through-fastening methods secure panels while permitting thermal movement. For suspended ceilings, ACM panels integrate with T-bar grids or custom aluminum supports, offering seamless spans and integrated services.
Construction ACM panels come in a variety of thicknesses, finishes, and performance ratings. Coil-coated PVDF finishes ensure UV resistance and color longevity. Perforated variants support acoustic treatment. Their installation speed, low maintenance, and design versatility make ACM panels a preferred material in modern commercial and institutional construction.
