PRANCE metalwork is a leading manufacturer of metal ceiling and facade systems.
This hotel lounge project incorporates a customized interior design with a parametric metal ceiling and curved column cladding system. PRANCE provided original design services for the lounge ceiling and column areas, developing a coordinated solution that connects the overhead structure with the vertical surfaces.
The design combines champagne gold metal finishes with flowing curved forms to create a warm and refined atmosphere for the hospitality space. By extending the ceiling design into the column surfaces, the project creates a consistent visual relationship throughout the lounge while adding depth and character to the interior environment.

The design focuses on connecting the column cladding with the ceiling system to create a consistent interior appearance. PRANCE developed a curved metal slat structure that extends from the column surfaces toward the ceiling, allowing the vertical and overhead elements to work together as one design element.
The curved slats create a smooth transition between the columns and ceiling. The open spacing between the metal elements allows light to pass through and creates subtle variations of light and shadow, giving the lounge space a more open and layered visual effect.
By continuing the same curved design across different area, the design reduces visual separation between the columns and ceiling while strengthening the overall interior composition.
The ceiling uses multiple curved metal slats arranged with different directions and spacing to shape the overhead space. The changing alignment of the slats creates rhythm across the ceiling surface and adds depth to the overall design.
Compared with a flat ceiling surface, the layered arrangement of metal slats introduces more variation while maintaining a lightweight appearance. The curved lines create different perspectives as visitors experience the lounge from different angles.
Aluminum provides the flexibility required for forming these curved elements while maintaining a consistent finish. This allows the slats to follow the intended geometry and achieve the smooth transitions required by the ceiling design.
Champagne gold finish adds a warm tone to the curved metal ceiling and column cladding system. The soft metallic surface highlights the changes in the curved forms and creates subtle variations as light moves across the different surfaces.
Combined with the lighting design, the finish enhances the depth of the metal structure and strengthens the visual connection between the ceiling and columns. The reflective quality of the surface brings more layers to the interior while maintaining a calm and elegant atmosphere suitable for a hotel lounge environment.
The selected finish works together with the curved metal design, allowing the ceiling system to become a coordinated part of the overall interior expression.
