PRANCE metalwork is a leading manufacturer of metal ceiling and facade systems.
Making a glass curtain wall begins in the design phase, where architects and engineers define module sizes, frame profiles, and performance criteria. Structural calculations determine anchor types and frame thicknesses. In the factory, aluminum extrusions are cut, welded or mechanically joined, and anodized or powder-coated for durability. Insulated glass units are fabricated to match module openings, incorporating low-emissivity coatings or tinted interlayers as needed. For unitized systems, complete frame-and-glass modules are assembled with gaskets, pressure plates, and sealants. These modules are then shipped to the site. The manufacturing process emphasizes tight tolerances, quality seals, and thermal breaks to ensure the finished curtain wall meets structural, thermal, and aesthetic requirements.
