PRANCE metalwork is a leading manufacturer of metal ceiling and facade systems.
The framework of the Hong Kong Footbridge Project has been fully completed, and the aluminum panels on the top have undergone woodgrain surface treatment.
The woodgrain surface treatment process often involves certain technical challenges. To ensure the woodgrain effect looks vivid and lifelike, we needed to align the woodgrain direction uniformly on the tapered structure. For this process, our PRANCE team selected high-quality woodgrain paper from the Italian brand SUBLITEX, which is designed for outdoor use and comes with a warranty of over 15 years.
To achieve optimal results, we marked the woodgrain direction on each panel, enabling our coating department to apply the woodgrain accurately according to the labeled directions. Once the materials are delivered, workers only need to hoist the modular framework, install the cladding, and apply sealant to complete the installation process. This modular design significantly improves installation efficiency, allowing the project to be completed in a very short time.
This is just one module of the project. I am eagerly anticipating the completion of all modules this year and sharing the full scope of the project with you. If you enjoyed this update, please leave your comments and follow PRANCE for more industry insights!
