Chengdu OPPO Tomorrow's Awesome Mall Metal Ceiling Project
Shopping mall is located in the core area of Chengdu New Chuankexue Park, with a total commercial area of 24,000 square meters, spread across four floors. The mall boasts over 2,000 parking spaces and is in close proximity to a Grade A office building housing OPPO's Chengdu Research and Development Center.
As a renowned smartphone manufacturer, Oppo's bold venture in Chengdu, outside its primary business has not only become an lconic structure in the emerging urban landscape of Chengdu but also signifies a new milestone in Oppo's journey of expansion and innovation.

| Challenge
First, The production and installation of the wall panels and ceiling in the lobby are particularly challenging due to the use of anodized aluminum profiles and flat panels. The integration of these materials with the lighting system requires precise coordination and careful craftsmanship to ensure a seamless and functional result.
Second,the issue of a high perforation rate in the ceiling, which exceeds 60%, needs to be addressed. How can we ensure that there won't be any problems with the panels falling during large-scale installation?
| Solution-1
The anodized panels need to maintain their silver luster and reflectivity, while also accommodating lightboxes as per the project’s specifications. Though the anodization process is standard, attention is required to align the lightboxes and flat panels correctly. Some panels will also form part of the smoke curtain system, and we’ll carefully manage adhesive gel to avoid gaps and ensure compliance with specifications.

The hexagonal ceiling involves punching holes in aluminum panels, which can affect the material's hardness. To solve this, we selected special materials and a precise punching process to prevent sagging in high-punch panels.

We have precisely designed the structure of the smoke shutter system to ensure that each component fits perfectly with the anodized plate. We predict the various performances of the system in use in advance to optimize its opening and closing smoothness and smoke prevention effect. In addition, we communicate closely with the architectural design team and fire safety experts to ensure that the shutter system can meet strict smoke prevention requirements.
