The principle of daily aluminum facade cleaning is quite simple: start with gentle methods and avoid using strong cleaners, steel wool, or high-pressure equipment right from the beginning.
Before cleaning, make sure it is a PVDF coating, powder coating, anodizing or a special textured surface. Different surface treatment methods have different chemical resistance.
For light dust, pollen and general stains, use clean water at low pressure for a gentle rinse. Many loosely attached contaminants can be removed by water alone, without the need for chemical cleaners.
If the stains still cannot be removed with clean water, use warm water combined with neutral cleaning agents and gently clean with a soft sponge, microfiber cloth or soft brush.

For high-rise buildings, operate by dividing the facade into sections. Avoid the cleaning solution flowing from the top to the bottom and forming new water marks. For low-rise buildings, you can start from the bottom and then rinse from the top to thoroughly clean.
Cleaning agents should not remain on the panel, seams, horizontal closures and corners. After cleaning, use clean water to thoroughly rinse, and if necessary, wipe dry with a lint-free soft cloth to prevent residues from forming streaks or stains after drying.

For example: When dealing with spray-coated boards and PVDF boards, it is strictly prohibited to use paint thinners, desinking agents or acetone-based products. For anodized aluminum, it is preferable to use soap water or mild cleaners. Avoid strong acids, strong alkalis and chemicals containing fluoride.
