The project involved the design of the showroom exterior façade for NuovaCasa, a leading high-end home customization and modern kitchen design brand in South Africa. The showroom required an exterior solution that could reflect its contemporary design approach and create a recognizable brand presence.
PRANCE provided a customized faceted metal façade design for the building exterior, developing a geometric metal cladding system with multi-dimensional folded surfaces. The completed façade gives the showroom a sculptural appearance, adding depth, visual character, and a distinctive identity to the commercial space.

| Faceted Metal Façade Design: Enhancing Brand Identity
1. Breaking the Limitations of Traditional Flat Cladding
The design concept moved beyond the simplicity of conventional flat façades by introducing a faceted metal cladding system with multiple geometric surfaces. For this project, we focused on creating a façade that could express NuovaCasa’s modern design approach while adding a stronger visual presence to the showroom exterior.
The façade combines customized aluminum panels with glass curtain walls to create a contrast between solid geometric surfaces and transparent elements. The folded aluminum panels introduce depth and visual movement, while the glass sections enhance openness and create a balanced relationship between the exterior façade and the showroom interior.
Our design team developed a customized façade system using folded metal panels to create variations in depth, angle, and surface expression. The changing panel angles allow the façade to present different visual effects from different viewpoints, adding three-dimensional character and a refined contemporary appearance to the building exterior.
2. Creating a Recognizable Exterior Through Custom Geometry
The customized metal panel pattern provides the showroom with a clear visual character within its surrounding environment. By carefully arranging the folded metal surfaces, the façade creates a unique exterior appearance that stands apart from typical commercial buildings.

At night, the lighting enhances the depth of the faceted panels and reveals the layered structure created by the folded surfaces. The combination of metal finishes and lighting highlights the façade details and creates a refined exterior appearance after sunset.
