The suspended ceiling is an important part of modern interior decoration. There are two types of suspended ceilings: direct and suspended ceilings. Aluminum ceilings are suspended ceilings. The suspended shed structure is composed of three parts: hanging bars, joists, and surface layers. The main construction sequence is: elastic wire, fixed suspender rod, installation and leveling keel, and installation of aluminum ceiling materials.
1. Pay out the line
The main purpose of laying out the line is to pop up the elevation line and keel layout line
Use a level to find horizontal points on the corners of each wall in the room (if the wall is long, add a few points in the middle) and pop up the level line. Calculate the elevation of the lower skin line of the ceiling keel according to the design requirements. Use The pink line pops up the layout line along the wall (column).
According to the roof plan, pop up the position line of the main keel on the concrete roof. The main keel should be divided from both sides of the center of the suspended ceiling. The distance between the keels is generally not more than 1.2m, and the hanging point is set to about 1m. According to the design requirements, they are pre-assembled and numbered, and the numbers are matched during installation to ensure that they meet the design requirements.
2. Fixed ceiling
The boom is generally a telescopic boom, but steel bars or profiles such as steel bars can also be used. But no matter which boom is chosen, the first priority is safety, which requires the tensile strength of the boom to meet safety requirements. Secondly, the county crane is convenient and flexible in adjustment. Only in this way can it be safe and practical.
The construction of the boom mainly includes three parts: the fixation of the structure, the selection of the section, and the connection between the boom and the keel. There are basically three forms of fixing methods for structures:
(1) Reserve hooks or embedded parts on the plate or beam, and the boom will be directly welded to the embedded parts or fixed with bolts. (2) At the lifting point, use an impact drill to drill expansion bolts, and then attach the boom to it. Welding, this method is more flexible, you can choose the position according to your needs (3) Use a nail gun to fix it, this method is also flexible
No matter what fixing method is used, it should be set according to the size and distance specified in the design, and anti-corrosion treatment should be done to prevent the components from rusting, corroding and falling off, affecting safety. The connection between the boom and the keel can be welded or hung. Coal joints are stronger, but more troublesome to repair or replace. The hanging parts are more convenient to order. They are generally products provided by the factory. They are quick to install and easy to maintain. This is a frequently used method.
3 Install and level the keel
The keel is the "connecting top and bottom" component in the suspended ceiling. It is connected to the hanging rods and provides installation nodes for the surface decorative panels. The keel is selected based on the design requirements or calculations to meet the requirements for strength and stiffness, and the spacing of the suspended ceiling is the same Also meet the requirements
3.1 Installation of side keels
According to the pop-up level line, along the horizontal keel line on the wall column, fix the ""-shaped angle aluminum with the same color as the board with high-strength cement nails (shooting nails can also be used). The function of the angle aluminum is to seal the edges of the ceiling, making the corners more complete and straight.
3.2 Install the main keel
The main keel should be hung on the boom. The pipe section of the main keel should not be larger than 300mm. Otherwise, a boom should be added to prevent the main keel from falling. The length of the main keel should be docked, and the butt joints of adjacent keels should be staggered from each other. The main keel should be basically leveled after it is hung. During installation, follow the keel position line pre-popped on the concrete roof, and install it from one end to the other end. If there is any collapse, install the high-span part first. Then install the low-span part. If there are manholes, vents, etc., when installing the keel, the size and location should be reserved, and the edge-sealed horizontal brace keel should be installed. If the keel needs to be disconnected, take corresponding structural reinforcement measures.
3.3 Install sub keel
The secondary keel is installed close to the main keel. Both ends of the sub keel should rest on the horizontal flanges of the L-shaped edge strips. The center line of the sub keel should be marked on the wall in advance so that the position of the sub keel can be found when installing the panel. The secondary keels shall not be overlapped. Additional keels should be added around openings such as ventilation holes, and the connections of the additional keels should be riveted with rivets.
3.4 Leveling the keel
Installation and leveling should be completed at the same time. Because the elevation control line has been played before installing the keel, the keel should be in place according to the elevation control line. Leveling is mainly to adjust the elevation of the main keel. Generally, there will be no problems with the secondary keel.
4 Install aluminum ceiling
Installation of the aluminum ceiling is carried out after leveling the joists. There is a protective film on the surface of the aluminum ceiling to prevent corrosion. The installation plates are installed in one direction and in sequence. If the keel itself is also a clamp, when installing the plate, just press the aluminum ceiling gently and the plate will be stuck on the keel. Self-tapping screws can also be used to fasten the panels.
In conclusion, the construction technology of aluminum ceilings offers numerous benefits. It provides a lightweight and durable solution for indoor and outdoor spaces. The versatility of aluminum allows for endless design possibilities, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of any area. The use of advanced technology ensures precision and efficiency during installation, making it a cost-effective choice. Additionally, aluminum ceilings offer thermal and acoustic insulation properties, contributing to a comfortable and energy-efficient environment. Overall, the use of aluminum ceilings in construction projects is a modern and sustainable choice that meets the demands of contemporary architecture.
