PRANCE metalwork is a leading manufacturer of metal ceiling and facade systems.
On the banks of the Nujiang River in Yunnan, the winding 'Most Beautiful Road' features picturesque arched railings that intricately blend nature and art, adding boundless poetic charm and beauty to the journey.
The Nujiang region, with its beautiful scenery and pleasant climate, has always been a unique and picturesque gem in the southern border of China. In this project, Pulsat undertook the task of customizing 6000 unique arched rods. Considering the uniqueness of the product, we had to carefully select materials. Meanwhile, the customer's control over the project timeline tested our technical and professional capabilities.
Our cooperation began in February 2021 when the client presented their requirements: customized aluminum rods along with provided drawings, with a demand to complete 6000 units within 20 days. This meant we had only two weeks to manufacture the products, excluding time for on-site inspection and product quality checks.
Following an urgent meeting with experienced technical specialists and confirmation from the project stakeholders, we presented preliminary plans for material selection and further processing within just one day. For efficiency and project accountability, we dispatched technical personnel to inspect the project site while closely monitoring the production of the products. Ultimately, with the concerted efforts of many colleagues, we systematically completed the production and quality inspection of the products on the eighteenth day of the project timeline. The project stakeholders expressed high praise upon receiving this news.
The project faced numerous challenges:
The first challenge was an extremely tight project timeline. While the project required a relatively small quantity of 6000 customized products, the project timeline was just 20 days. Furthermore, these products were safety-critical, demanding the highest quality standards. Fortunately, after thorough discussions, our technical team swiftly devised an efficient production plan to meet the project requirements.
The second challenge involved a technological breakthrough. Taking all factors into account, our technical experts determined that due to the tight timeline, the traditional casting process couldn't be used, and aluminum plate welding was necessary.
Considering the material's characteristics, we selected 5-series aluminum, which has a higher hardness, making the bending process more challenging. This required the development of entirely new bending molds. In the end, with the strong support of our closely-knit team, Prance successfully completed the project within the project timeline, demonstrating Prance's fearlessness of challenges and pursuit of excellence. It showcased our commitment to self-improvement and continuous development.
